MSSN Lagos condemns harassment of Muslims in Osun, Enugu, Ogun
The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria, Lagos State Area Unit has called on government at all levels, including Nigerians to be wary of brewing religious intolerance in their territories.
The Amir of the MSSN in Lagos State, Saheed Ashafa, said this in a press statement to condemn the various attacks unleashed on Muslims in various states.
Ashafa recalled that at Adesanmi area of Ile-Ife, Osun State on Saturday August 13, 2016 a muslim lady, Shakirah Akintayo, was allegedly beaten by a Christian preacher from Living Faith Assembly (aka Winners Chapel) for refusing an invitation to attend a church programme and accept christ.
He also pointed to the reported detention by Nigeria Police Force of a 16-year-old girl, Ifesinachi AMATULLAHI Anih, over her acceptance of Islam in Enugu and later transferred to Abuja.
Ashafa further lamented that another breach of fundamental human right was committed against a muslim female, Mutiat Alao, when she was threatened to remove her hijab or lose her job by the Provost of Neuro-Psychiatric Hospital, Aro in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
According to Ashafa, it is more disturbing that the police and government officials are aware of the developments but refused to take proactive steps.
The leader of Muslim students in Lagos State explained that the current economic depression in Nigeria was beginning to have psychological effects that could spur anger easily among people if their rights were continually tampered with.
Ashafa said, “No doubt, the nation’s economy is not in the best shape we all want it to be yet. There is inflation and limited availability of jobs. Many families are struggling to survive with the hope and understanding that the efforts of the Federal Government will yield result soon.
“It will be unfair that despite the perseverance and maturity exhibited by Nigerians especially Muslims in this time of hardship, our fundamental human rights cannot be guaranteed.
“It is not good for government and its agencies to keep silent in the face of the numerous oppression unleashed on Muslims. If the growing cases of religious intolerance is allowed to continue without adequate intervention from appropriate quarters, it may be greeted with an unpredictable and damaging reaction.
“Our plea is that government at all levels and Nigerians, especially people from other faith should not tamper with laws and injunctions protecting the right to wear the Hijab (Muslim head scarf) in public institutions, including schools. Doing so will not help our economy and could degenerate into religious crisis, which will worsen the current economic depression and hardship experienced in the country.”
Commenting specifically on the incident of job loss threat in Ogun State, Ashafa appealed to all concerned stakeholders to wage into the matter urgently and ensure that the provost of the hospital, Dr A. O Akinhanmi, faced disciplinary actions.
He added, “It is strange to the hearing that at this stage in Nigeria, an institution can pretend not to know that wearing hijab is not just a right ordained by Allah but also a legal right.
“It is worst to hear that a Muslim female is threatened with job loss for refusing to pull off her hijab; and our observation is that the increasing cases of harassment and intimidation is already forming wounds in the minds of many in Ogun State. Thus, proper intervention is needed to prevent anger from escalating into crisis.”
Ashafa also warned invigilators and supervisors at the ongoing General Certificate of Examination (GCE) conducted by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) not to disturb any Muslim student for putting on hijab to the examination hall.
“We are not against security checks, provided it is done moderately. However, we frown and will not hesitate to take drastic action against centres or invigilators that harass, intimidate, delay or prevent from writing examination a muslim female candidate on the ground of wearing hijab.”

I support the struggle for the independence of Palestine – Senator Sani Shehu
The Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs, Sen. Shehu Sani, on Friday expressed support for the United Nations’ resolution on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
He said during a visit to the Palestinian Ambassador to Nigeria, Amb. Saleh Fhied, in Abuja, that the conflict had lingered in spite of efforts to resolve it.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that there had been efforts by the Security Council of the UN to bring an end to the conflict.
The conflict has been on territorial lines that existed before Israel’s occupation of the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip in 1967.
Sani assured the Palestinian envoy of President Muhammadu Buhari’s commitment to the traditional position of Nigeria on the UN resolution on the matter.
“I am here to reaffirm my support for the Palestinian course and the struggle of the people of Palestine, for their liberation as an independent and a sovereign state.
“I also want to reaffirm my firm support for the United Nations resolution on Palestine-Israel debacle.
“It is regrettable that former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration derailed from Nigeria’s official position.
“It was a direct departure from Nigeria’s traditional position. It was not within the principle of our foreign policy.
“I believe no African should think of any other think than to see Palestine as a sovereign state,’’ he said.
Sani said that it was high time Palestine gained its freedom, stressing that “Palestine represents 21st century prison, where a people are denied the basic right to exist as a free people.
“We don’t believe that there should be a country under colonialism. This is the time for the suffering for the people of Palestine to come to an end; it is time for their independence.
“We believe the UN resolution. In as much as Israel exists as a sovereign state, Palestine should also exist as a sovereign state.
“Global peace can only be attained if the issue is resolved.’’
He commended the Palestinian Government for fostering unity among its Muslim and Christian population, saying that it offered a lesson of religious harmony all over the world.
He said that Nigeria and Palestine would continue to cooperate in relevant areas as well as work closely towards global peace.
Responding, the ambassador commended Buhari for fostering relationship between Nigeria and Palestine in 1985 when he was military Head of State.
Fhied said that Nigeria’s support for Palestine was only fair and just, considering the fact that Nigeria had also suffered from colonialism.
He expressed optimism that as civilian president, Buhari would support the Palestinian struggle to become a sovereign nation.
Fhied also commended Sani for his support for Palestine’s course and urged him not to relent in helping the government in the struggle for freedom.
He said, “every single word you just said will be heard in Palestine. The struggle is not finished yet; we count on your support and we wait for the day we will get our liberation.
“We don’t want to destroy Israel. We do not want to de-legalize Israel; we want to have them as neighbours; we hope the problem will finish and we will be free.
“They have to honour all international decisions and Security Council resolutions and with Nigeria and International help as well as your help, we can achieve this.’’

THEY WANT US TO BOW FOR THIER NORMS AND CULTURE
THEY WANT US TO BOW FOR THIER NORMS AND CULTURE,
That is the reason behind the C.A.N's Crocodile tears.
For a very long time, there have been numerous deadly struggle between the Muslim world and the western world especially the Jews and the Christians.
Many battles were fought. Majority Muslims were killed. Countless properties of the Muslims were seized, many properties were destroyed. Do you know the reason behind this? It is because every group of people who are privileged will want others to bow for their interest.
The culture of the west was promulgated by the devil (Shaytãn). Their system of life is totally erroneous and godless. Those who have greater access to attain wealth will cheat others under them. Adultery and drunkeness is among their prominent features. Their belief (Aqeedah) has totally gone against the will of the creator. Countless are the atrocities of the Jews to Allah, the Prophets and mankind.
For instance, the Jews declared Allah as a stingy and poor. They called Arch-angel Jibreel a liar. They called Maryam (Jesus-mother) an adulteress. They said Jesus was a bastard, and lots more
As regard the Christians, Bible says that God is foolish, The Prophets before Jesus were abused in the bible in a move to clarify Jesus as the only saint among other prophets. Bible affirms that prophet Nuh (Noah) got drunk and lay uncovered in his tent. Bible confirms that Prophet David committed adultery with females. It was in the bible where God says that you cannot eat pig but you can give it to your neighbour. In the gospel of Jeremiah, we read that God enforces hard drink on people. The text in the Song of Solomon when read in the church, the church will turn to hotel. You cannot imagine the way bible described females. No wonder when the pastors rape the female church members.
Now they are shouting on Islamization that doesn't exist. All the statistics made revealed that 80% of the Nigeria's resources are shared by the churches and Jews. Muslims are treated as second class citizens in Nigeria. The key posts and the employment opportunities in the parastatals have been jeopardized by these Christians.
You can imagine how an Elephant is shouting that an ordinary rat is planning to cage him despite its hugeness, what an ironical and hyperbolic statement?
Well, perhaps the Muslims have not yet known the reason why they are shouting on inexisting Islamization. But let me tell you that they will continue shouting until you become their followers or you exist no more.
Allah says "never will the Jews and Christians be pleased with you till you follow their religion..." Surat-el Baqorah, verse 120.
We are telling them that we can never renounce our faith. They will rather surrender for the will of Allah which is Sharia.
Whether they like it or not, even if they shout from today till next century, when it is time that Allah promised, Islamic Caliphacy will germinate where they do not expect.
🏴🏴Islam is coming to rule the world.🏴🏴

Unity Among Muslims Unnegotiable- Ameer Taawun
Office of the Ameer
Unfortunately, we see nowadays many Muslim groups and sects working in da`wah plagued with the diseases of division, disagreements, and discord, in total contrast to the teachings of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
We all need not to be surprised if it happens because that is the nature of prophetic da’wah and it would never change. When you are trying to build a strong Ummah, the pillar must be erected on a strong foundation.
We are all human being truly but the one who created us knows us more than ourselves and He will do what is necessary to ensure the forces protecting His course are protected likewise, separate the wheat from the chaff. And when such a thing occurs we must never lose focus because is a part of Allah’s design on the path of da’wah.
Muslims should be cautious of those Da’wah groups or people which claim to be the only representative of true Islam and attribute disbelief to the others. In Islam, we need not to condemn any Muslims when we are not God and we must also distance ourselves from breaking the unity of Muslims Ummah or contributing to their weakness and loss of power. Division substitutes love with hatred, trust with suspicion, and peace with conflict. what we need at present is unity because that is where our power resides.
Efforts of da`wah would not be fruitful unless we forget our differences, make da`wah the center of our interests, cooperate with each other, and coordinate our work with the fear of Allah and without self-interest

WHY WE CANNOT KEEP SILENCE ON CHRISTIAN MISSION 2020 IN NIGERIA.
Office of the Ameer
“Should they gain the upper hand over you, they would behave to you as enemies, and stretch forth their hands and their tongues against you with evils, and they desire that you should disbelieve.” Quran 60:2
One thing has to be known, Muslims are peace loving people and that is the nature of our religion. But in a situation where our lives are at stake, we just have to call our attention to it in order to prevent the alarm from being blown because it is what had happened to other neighbouring Muslims which we have also witnessed. And Yoruba adage will say, “Iku to n pa ojugbe eni owe lo n pa fun ni” (The death of one’s close associate is a proverb for all his friends.)
For quite some time, there have been numerous cases of Christians involved in terrorist related acts, but such cases were never investigated. In 2010, the Punch Newspaper reported the arrest of Five (5) Pastors “for operating an Illegal Military outfit” (a Euphemism for terrorist activity, since the word is exclusively reserved for Muslims), in Lagos, with their photographs published at page 11 of the Wednesday edition, 10th March, 2010.
CAN Military operatives were also arrested by the police “for operating illegal security outfit” in Jalingo, Taraba State. Those arrested included Reverend Chaplain Shehu Yakubu- a retired customs officer, Sunday Silas- a retired SSS officer, Sulaiman Audu- a retired ASP, Y. Winew- a retired ASP, Isma’ila Makaniki and many others. This was reported by the Daily Trust Newspaper of Saturday, 2nd November, 2013 at page 10. In the same paper, at Page 8, was another report, “Police nab woman, 2 others over militia training in Gombe”, in which one Mrs. Deborah Babayo and two men were reportedly arrested by the Gombe Police Command “for conducting illegal militia training under the auspices of an illegal organization, called “The Elite Corps” on the outskirts of Gombe, on 1st November, 2013.
In Plateau State, in March 2012, a Christian wearing Military Uniform, later identified as a member of the COCIN Church, was lynched while trying to escape after the bombing of the same Church headquarters in Jos. A few days later, on Sunday 25th March, 2012, the Special Task Force (STF) paraded one Mr. Alex Danladi, who was caught wearing army camouflage, along with one Mr. Dung Bulus, a well known fabricator of guns, and some others the authorities said were students of the University of Jos. A few weeks later, on 10th April, 2012 one Mr. Monday Davou was arrested, caught red handed, planting a timed improvised explosive device (IED), at the Makera weekly market in Riyom Local Government Area, Plateau State. This was evidently aimed at committing mass murder and attributed it to Boko Haram
In Lagos, the Saturday Sun newspaper of 10th March, 2012, at page 10, reported that 11 cartons of explosives imported from South Africa, which were carefully packaged to beat security checks, where intercepted by the Nigerian Customs Service at the Murtala Muhammad International Airport, Lagos. The huge consignments were for Miero Marble Granite and Stones Ltd, in Kaduna State, with one Mr. Micheal Awara Ernest as the Company representative to collect the explosives at the Cargo terminal. The statement of the Customs Area commandant at the Airport, Mr. Charles Eporwei Edike, which was profoundly insightful on the intent and probable consequences of the explosive, fell on the deaf ears of the SSS. He said “if those items were released, they could have been used to cause mayhem. We are now going to hand him and the items over to the Police for further investigation”. Well, since the handover, neither the Police nor the Spokeswoman of the almighty SSS had said, or done anything on it.
In Gombe State, there was a report on the arrest of Christian men that sprayed bullets on the Gombe Deeper Life Church worshippers. Igbos were the suspects arrested who were reportedly taken to Abuja. Shortly thereafter, two Christians, Hassan Ojudu and Sama’ila Yakubu were arrested with a vehicle loaded with explosive devices and ammunitions. Curiously, they too were reportedly taken to Abuja
Finally, on specific factual examples, was a BBC news report published by THISDAY Newspaper of Friday, 13th January, 2012 on page 6, on a British arms dealer, Gary Hyde being prosecuted in a London court for unlawfully arranging the shipment of about 80,000 guns and 32Million rounds of ammunition from China to Nigeria in 2007. Obviously, it was not meant for Muslim because if it was, the BBC, CNN and the Nigerian Media would have kept harping on it.
Apart from being involved in all these terrorist activities, the Christians (though not all) in Nigeria are in for another bomb shell called CHRISTIAN MISSION 2020 with international backing, aiming at dividing Nigeria into three regions if not more than that with Christians taking over the three South. In fact, the states of our Nation today have proved its possibility unless if we are deceiving ourselves. Our fear is only on Muslims who are in deep slumber. No one is advocating for war or division of the country (God forbid) but if eventually comes as they are planning it, what will be the fate of Muslims?
CAN fumes over John Kerry’s meeting with Sultan, Northern governors; accuses U.S. of bias
The Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, has accused the United States government of stoking ethnic and religious divisions in Nigeria, after the U.S. Secretary of State, John Kerry, visited the Sultan of Sokoto and northern governors.
The group said Christians were excluded from Mr. Kerry’s visit between Monday and Tuesday.
Mr. Kerry travelled to Sokoto where he met the Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, who is the head of Nigeria’s Muslim community. He later met President Muhammadu Buhari, before meeting governors of northern states.
In an interview with journalists on Thursday, CAN said Mr. Kerry’s visit was “discriminatory, personal and divisive”.
The group said Mr. Kerry should stop interfering in the internal affairs of the country, alleging that the visit was aimed at furthering the federal government’s plan to continue to persecute the teeming population of Nigerian Christians.
The president of CAN, Rev. Supo Ayokunle, said Mr. Kerry’s “lack of respect for the heterogeneous nature of Nigeria, amounted to favouring northern Nigeria and Muslims to the detriment of the Christian community”.
He said the disposition of the Secretary of States supported claims that the Barack Obama administration openly supported the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the 2016 general elections, which produced the current leadership of the country.
“Why did he meet with 19 states governors, without southern governors, is Nigeria the north alone, why did you go to the north alone?” he asked.
There’s a siege on Christians. Kerry, his actions speak volume, his actions, body language were very divisive.
“If US Secretary of States is coming for official visit, it’s understandable, but we demand explanation why he was selective. Has the sultan palace become another state house? Was Kerry invited by the Sultan?
“We have 36 States in Nigeria; he only selected northern governors to meet with them. It was a visit to the north, not to Nigeria. It was surely a very divisive visit. With the visit to the north, Kerry’s visit has heightened fear and tension among Christians in Nigeria, if they cannot bring us together, they should not interfere in our affairs.”
Speaking against the killing of Christians in northern Nigeria, the CAN president said based “on the government’s selective persecution of Christians mostly by the Department of State Service (DSS) and the Nigerian Police, it was obvious the administration was anti-Christians”.
“Have the DSS arrested the Muslim youths who burnt down a Catholic Church in Niger State because they were worshiping on Friday? What happened to the ECWA Pastor who was killed in his farm in Obi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State? What have happened with Redeemed Preacher who was murdered in Kubwa, Abuja?
“Look at the recent case in Zamfara State, Christians where burnt alive. What has happened? They will tell you, they are still investigating. Have they been arrested and charged them to court? If the government cannot sit up and protect Christians, tolerance is going to break down, they should do the right thing, they should not provoke Christians. Have we ever seen this government bring anybody to book?”
The CAN president tasked President Buhari “to come out clean”, adding that, “a government that doesn’t listen is not for the people.”
The CAN leader called on the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) to as a matter of urgency intervene in the case of Joe Chinakwe who was arrested for naming his dog “Buhari”. He argued that, naming an animal with somebody’s name is never a criminal offence.
“The NBA should take up that case and ascertain whether the man has the right to give any name to a dog. They should come and protect the man’s human rights and set the record why the case is not a criminal offence,” Mr. Ayokunle said.

Army, NSCDC Uncover Illegal Oil Well At Winners Chapel Church Premises
Fabian Idoko & Folake Sokoya
Lagos – The Nigerian Army and operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC) have uncovered an illegal oil well around Iyana-Odo area of Lagos.
The latest incident is coming two weeks after security agents discovered illegal oil wells at 10 houses on Ibadan and Abeokuta streets in Ilasamaja, Lagos.
Independent gathered that the security agents discovered the oil well Thursday within the premises of Winners Satellite Church, located at Iyana-Odo in Igando-Ikotun local council development area of the state. It was filled with premium motor spirit, popularly known as petrol.
However, resident pastor of the Church, Oladela Paul told Tajudeen Balogun, the Lagos NSCDC commandant that the church had sent a formal complain to Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC when they noticed the well was filled with PMS.
Oladela however regretted that month after writing the NNPC for solution, the Church was yet to get any response from the Corporation
According to the pastor, “the well has become a source of harassment to the church and our members, even as we are afraid of the impending hazard which we cannot determine.”
Kehinde Bada, Lagos NSCDC image maker confirmed the incident, saying that “the visit is to evaluate the extent of the spillage and take necessary actions.”

Revisit stand on Palestine, Emir Sanusi tells FG
The Emir of Kano, Malam Malam Muhammad Sanusi II, yesterday called on the federal government to return to its initial stand of free Palestinian state as against the stand the nation took during President Goodluck Jonathan’s era.
The emir made the call during a one-day international conference on Palestine with the theme, Palestine question; Issues, Challenges and Actions, organised by the Center for Promotion of Shari’a in collaboration with Jama’atut Tajdidil Islamiya and the Afro-Middle East Center, South Africa held in Kano.
The Emir said it was sad that Nigeria had played a significant role in the failure of Palestinian bid to put an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories at the UN Security Council.
“For decades Nigeria has been in the support of free Palestine until during the Jonathan era when Nigeria played a vital role is the loss of Palestinian bid to put an end to the Israeli occupation of Palestinian territories at the UN Security Council. I believe it is time for Nigeria to revisit its stand on Palestine,” the Emir said.

Muslim Leaders Ask FG To Ban Shiites
The Kaduna State chapter of the Supreme Council for Sharia in Nigeria (SCSN) has called on the Federal Government, to ban all activities of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria and prosecute their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim Zakzaky.
Rising from their meeting in Kaduna, the group comprising of Islamic preachers and scholars, supported the indictment of the Shiites by the Judicial Commission of enquiry set up by the Kaduna State government to investigate the December 2015 clash between the Shiites and soldiers in Zaria.
The Muslim leaders maintained that the acts of impunity exhibited by the group over the years in Zaria and other states in Nigeria’s northern region, were against the teachings of Islam and the Nigerian Constitution.
They re-emphasised the urgent need to proscribe the Shiites for the interest of peace and security of Nigeria.
The spokesman for the SCSN, Sheikh Muhammad Suleiman, told reporters that failure of the government to deal decisively with the alleged excesses of the Shiites would pose a great security risk for the country.
The Islamic group also called on the Federal Government to stop the herdsmen crisis by checkmating the influx of herdsmen that come into Nigerian from other neighbouring African countries.
They stated that the armed herdsmen that have been attacking and killing innocent citizens in some parts of the country are not Nigerians.

BUSY AT NOTHING! (A CASE STUDY OF NIGERIAN MUSLIMS)...
BUSY AT NOTHING! (A CASE STUDY OF NIGERIAN MUSLIMS)...
In as much as I would want this article to reach the totality of Muslims in this nation, if possible... I wouldn't also want a Non-Muslim to get a glimpse of this for it has gone beyond mere shame. It is a pitiful eventuality of caricature that shouldn't be learnt of by others, except that they laugh in profound mockery and revalidate their claims of fallacy that this Islam, is indeed a misleading invention (I seek Allah's refuge from disbelief).
While the Christians are perambulating in severe strive, in the name of salvation, to gather more people into their religion and targeting the Muslims most especially, the Muslims are busy tackling and fighting against one another and giving the "trying Muslims" a headway to join the Christians.
Who are "trying Muslims"? They are the Nominal Muslims, who just bear Islamic names but are not active in any voluntary or involuntary practices of an ideal Muslim. If they are, it happens just once in a blue moon. They are the ones that the Christians capture the most! This is because the knowledgeable Muslims are busy giving them "hot lectures"; lectures of... "if you don't do so, so and so, you go to hell". After that none the less, they ignore their welfare and expect them to be on the straight path! What vanity!
The other day, a Christian organisation came into my school (UNILAG) with thousands of forms to be filled. Forms that display awaiting jobs to be taken after graduating from the school. They gave them to interested final year students to fill and you could see that they were specifically and particularly focusing on the Muslims, persuading them to fill the forms. So you could see even the small-Hijab sisters filling the forms so enthusiastically.
Going down the footnote of the form, it was powered by a Christian organisation who invited the individual who has filled the form to come down to the church on two Sundays for orientation and shouldn't worry about breakfast for it would be handsomely catered for.
I'm not uncertain that majority are not aware of the Redeemed Convention, whose ambitious objectives are to, apart from the situation of a Church of its in every Nigerian Street, make a Redeemed member, at least, a member of every single family! Now, they have even resolved into their men, marrying the Muslim ladies regardless of their Islamic religious beings! Can you see that we Muslims are busy at nothing!
I've also heard stories of yet another church organisation, promising Muslim students who convert to Christianity, two hundred and fifty thousand Naira cash and Apple laptops each and some Muslims with half-baked faith lost their way through this! Are we supposed to continue this way?
The seriousness with which the Christians pay their tithe cannot be over emphasised. These are what they use the tithes for! Get more Christians from amongst! But what are my fellow Muslims doing? After reading the whole Islamic jurisprudence, law, and literatures; then they go hunting one another and segregating themselves into sects and accusing one sect or the other of deviating from Islamic norms and order!
Is this what should be given absolute priority at this time? A time when Muslims are fast converting into Christianity due to economic challenges, Islamophobia and welfare retardation. The Christians use this as a means to capture them, giving them a guarantee of breakout from their poverty-striken lives! What are the rich Muslims doing? They keep going to Hajj annually and ignore the Penury conditions of their fellow Muslims. Some travel to places where Islam is already established in the bid to call to Islam while abandoning their own nationality where Islam has a shaky leg. What can we call that? Busy at nothing!
What pains me most is this! They say "we are doing Da'wah (calling to Islam)". For Allah's sake, who needs Da'wah most? Is it people who are already Muslims or People who are yet to believe in the Oneness of Allah? The Christians will have the impetus and audacity to move close to Muslims, appearing as one in all ramifications, in caps and Hijabs and preach the Gospel, all in the name of evangelism. This is an Islamic heritage! But the Muslims have abandoned it to the Christians. Lugubrious!
What do the Muslims do? They place their overall Da'wah on another Muslim who comes to mosque everyday but doesn't fly his trousers or keep his beards! They creep behind one another in secret observation and come back with news of... "I saw that brother talking to another sister in the close or I saw that sister not lowering her gaze upon another brother while they conversed", what misplacement of priorities! They, among the Muslim women, do nothing about calling a non Muslim lady to Islam but rather, they concentrate all their acclaimed Da'wah on a sister who's already a Muslim in a little Hijab or pashmina, telling her that "if you don't use a bigger Hijab, you will go to hell!" Now tell me, how wouldn't such be enticed by Christians and yield so easily?
Some Muslim men have the whole Quran, Minhajul Muslim, Sahih Bukhari, Riyaadus Soliheen and other Islamic documents in their memories by heart, but have never set out one day to go preaching to a non Muslim on how to become a believer. Rather, they sit down in mosques, and wait in "intellectual ambush" against another Muslim, observing their practical and verbal mistakes and raising unnecessary arguments over such when they are eventually committed.
What are Muslims doing? Busy at nothing!!!
I have intentionally decided to forgo any Quranic verses or Hadith references in this write up! It is a deliberate attempt to project the fact that the eyes and brain that Allah gives us to see and judge things respectively, aren't just there to read literatures and memorise Quran and Ahadith alone but to behold what goes on in our surrounding and ask ourselves judiciously, "what are we really doing? Da'wah or Dower?"
Let us think!

Raising tomorrows leaders (18 Tips)
Raising tomorrows leaders (18 Tips)
By Mufti Ismail Menk
1. Praise your child, even if they get 4/10 in exam, praise your child in front of others.
2. Never make your child feel that he is useless. Never favour one child on the other.
3. Every time we speak with our children speak with respect, say "thank you", etc. Don't use slang i.e gimmi instead say 'please give me'; use clear words, be polite and never swear. (Prophet said, do not use slang as it will decrease your respect).
4. You need to bare in mind when your child is young that this is just a child, don't take away there playing time by treating them like an adult. If we do this, they will rebel in life.
5. We need to assist our children to make decisions. He or she must be taught to make decisions. Acknowledge them, guide them by talking to them, if they want to go for something, organize the plan for them.
6. Whenever you have decisions to be made ask your child of his or her opinion. For example, if you are going to buy a car, ask there opinion, where they like to eat, or what colour they like for a car, this develops habit of consultancy in them.
7. Depending on the house we are living in, we would perhaps have a corner; write the name of the child there, as it be there territory. Put there certificates on wall; this makes them confident of themselves.
8. Teach your child to follow you to read salah. Lead them rather than instructing, it's a more powerful way. What your child sees you doing they will remember forever. Start instructing them to read salah at the age of 7, this will help them and make it easy for them to follow when they reach puberty when it becomes compulsory on them.
9. We need to teach our children how to put forward their opinion, how you would disagree to a point. Don't use swear words when you disagree on anything as this will inculcate in your child as he is watching you being aggressive. Children have much more grasping power than us and they pick up things very fast.
10. Encourage your child to ask question, and try to answer each question they ask else they will get it from a wrong source. Praise there questions at times.
11. Always fulfill your promises on to you children. Do not make big promises which you cannot fulfill; this makes them develop a habit of making false promises. If you fail to fulfill any promise, explain.
12. Very important to teach our child is how to develop skills of being a member of a group. Team work is very important; this teaches them to give chances to people in life rather always competing.
13. Make dua for your children. Even if they have gone astray, pray for them.
14. Tell them you might fail once, but never lose hope. Teach them how they should react to a failure.
15. Apologize to your child if you have made a mistake, this teaches your child to repent to Allah. Don't rise ifs and buts when you are wrong; there are no ifs and buts when it comes to repentance.
16. Have a few surprises for your children, to praise there deed of good, give them recognition at home, that this surprise is for your so and so good you did.
17.We need to make sure that we train our children to read a portion of Quran daily, according to there capacity.
18. Tell your child repeatedly that you love them, tell them how gorgeous they are and how important they are to you, hug them, its a sunnah to kiss your children.
If you feel this message will help one or more of your family or friends, forward this email to them. Perhaps this might be beneficial for them and you will get the ajar for that!
May Allah (swt) bring tranquility and happiness in your family!

*The Naked Truth of Life*
*The Naked Truth of Life*
There was a man with four wives. He loved his fourth wife the most and took great care of her and gave her the best.
He also loved his third wife and always wanted to show her off to his friends. However, he always had a fear that she might runaway with some other man.
He loved his second wife too. Whenever he faced some problems, he always turned to his second wife and she would always help him out.
He did not love his first wife though she loved him deeply, was very loyal to him and took great care of him.
One day the man fell very ill and knew that he is going to die soon. He told himself, *_"I have four wives. I will take one of them along with me when I die to keep me company in my death."_*
Thus, he asked the fourth wife to die along with him and keep him company. *_"No way!"_* she replied and walked away without another word.
He asked his third wife. She said *_"Life is so good over here. I'm going to remarry when you die"._*
He then asked his second wife. She said *_"I'm Sorry. I can't help you this time around. At the most I can only accompany you till your grave."_*
By now his heart sank and he turned cold. Then a voice called out: *_"I'll go with you. I'll follow you no matter where you go."_*
The man looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny, almost like she suffered from malnutrition. Greatly grieved, the man said, *_"I should have taken much better care of you while I could have!"_*
Actually, we all have four wives in our lives.
a. *The fourth wife is our body.* No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it'll leave us when we die.
b. *The third wife is our possession, status and wealth.* When we die, they go to others.
c. *The second wife is our family and friends.* No matter how close they had been there for us when we're alive, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the grave.
d. *The first wife is our soul,* neglected in our pursuit of material wealth and pleasure. It is actually the only thing that follows us wherever we go.
*_One of the best messages I have received_*
Pass it on.....

Will Khilafah be established before the coming of Al-Mahdi?
Will Khilafah be established before the coming of Al-Mahdi?
Whether Mahdi would be the one to revive the Khilafah or Khilafah will be established before him and he’ll be the one who’ll fasten the pace? Consider the mentioned points which hint to the establishment of Khilafah before the coming of Al-Mahdi.
We live in a world where there is no Islamic State (Khilafah) on the complete globe. There is no inch on the whole globe where the Hukm or Kalimah of Allah is established as a System. We all await the return of Khilafah and we don’t have any doubt that it will come.
It was narrated by Ahmed in his Musnad, from Al-Nu’man b. Bashir, who said: “We were sitting in the mosque of the Messenger of Allah (saw), and Bashir was a man who did not speak much, so Abu Tha’labah Al-Khashnee came and said: ‘Oh, Bashir bin Sa’ad, have you memorized the words of the Messenger of Allah (saw) regarding the rulers?’ Huthayfah replied, ‘I have memorized his words’. So Abu Tha’labah sat down and Huthayfah said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) said ‘Prophet-hood will be amongst you as long as Allah wishes, then He will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a Khilafah on the way of the Prophet, and it will be as long as Allah wishes it to be, then Allah will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be an inheritance rule (ملكًا عاضًا), and it will last as long as Allah wishes it to, then Allah will lift it up if when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a coercive rule(ملكًا جبرية), and it will last as long as Allah wishes it to be, then Allah will lift it up when He wishes to lift it up. Then there will be a Khilafah on the way of Prophet-hood.’ Then he was silent.”
Reference: Masnad Ahmed bin Hanbal (Hadith # 18430) , As-Saheeha al-Albani (Hadith # 5). It has been declared Hasan by Sh’uaib Arnaoot, and al-Albani classified it as Sahih. The text quoted is the one from Masnad Ahmed.
For many other references see this link : The Future of Islam – Khilafah Returns
Few people think that Khilafah, the rule of Allah, will not be established before the coming of Al-Mahdi and Isaعليهما السلام . Even if the case is so, that doesn’t take away from us the duty of striving for the establishment of rule of Allah (Jihad) until they come. No matter, how distant the achievement of the goal is in terms of time, we still have to strive for it for our salvation and to get our name written in the forces of Mahdi. Prophet Muhammad laid the foundation of a vision which will be accomplished in the times of Mahdi. All those who share the same vision, be it the sahaba, those in our times, or those in the times of Mahdi fall in the same Army!
There are few indications in the books of history and Ahaadith which seem to indicate that the rule of Allah (Khilafah) will be established before the coming of Al-Mahdi and Isa
Point # 1-
It was narrated by Al-Haakim, and classified as Sahih, the narration of Abdullah b. ‘Amr, who said: “There will come a time when there will not be one believer left, but will rush to Al-Shaam.”
Reference: Mastadrak Al Haakim (Hadith # 8413), Dhahbi says it is according to the conditions of Bukhari and Muslim, in his Talkhees
It will be a time saying: "Either you are with us or against us “! It will be a time when Khilafah will be revived in Ash Shaam, and it would become a compulsion on all muslims to submit to that Khilafah! Ash Shaam would become a Dar ul Hijrah, and Muslims throughout the globe who are in Dar ul Kufr will have no other option but to go and join Ash Shaam (The only Darul Islam, Darussalam and Dar ul Hijrah) on the globe. People will give Bai’ah to Imam Al Mahdi in Makkah, and perhaps later on he’ll move his center to Bait Al Maqdis. So, this hadith doesn’t seem to refer to his times.
Point # 2 -
"Disagreement will occur at the death of a caliph and a man of the people of Medina will come... flying forth to Mecca. Some of the people of Mecca will come to him, bring him out against his will and give bay'ah to him between the Rukn and the Maqam. An expeditionary force will then be sent against him from Syria but will be swallowed up in the desert between Mecca and Medina. When the people see that, the God fearing people of Syria and the best people of Iraq will come to him and swear allegiance to him between the Corner and the Maqam. Then there will arise a man of Quraysh whose maternal uncles belong to Kalb and send against them an expeditionary force which will be overcome by them, and that is the expedition of Kalb. Disappointed will be the one who does not receive the booty of Kalb. He will divide the property, and will govern the people by the Sunnah of their Prophet (peace be upon him) and establish Islam on Earth. He will remain seven years..."
Reference: Reported by at-Tabarani in al-Awsat , by Imam Ahmed in his Masnad and by Abu Da’wud in his Sunan. According to Haithmi in his Majma' az-Zawaid the transmitters in at-Tabarani's narration are sound and authentic. But this hadith has been graded by al-albani as Da'eef in Ad Da'eefah and in The Takhreej of Sunan Abu Da'wud and also by Sh'uaib Arnaoot in the Takhreej of Masnad Ahmed.
The portion “Disagreement will occur at the death of a caliph” indicates the return of Khilafah before the coming of al-Mahdi.
Point # 3 –
"Three men, all of them sons of Khalifah, will fight over your treasure and none of them will take it. Then black flags will appear in the Orient, they will kill you in a manner in which no one had been killed before. Thowban added the Prophet said something else that I do not remember very well, then the Prophet said: "When you see this (man) pledge allegiance to him even if this requires you to crawl on snow as he is the Caliph of Allah, Al Mahdi"
Reference: Quoted by Al Haakim in his Mustadrak and he say it is according to the conditions of Bukhari and Muslim an Ad Dahabi has supported his claim in the talkhees. Also mentioned by Ibn e Majah in his Sunan with a different chain. Albani says its meaning is authentic except for the statement: as he is the Caliph of Allah, Al Mahdi.
Perhaps the dispute mentioned is a dispute on Khilafah (or hold of Al-Ka’ba) which is similar to the narration mentioned above. The ending of the hadith tells us how to get out this dispute.
There are many similar narrations. All of them mention the sons of Khulafa before the advent of Mahdi.
Point # 4 - Narrations tell us that Mahdi will fill the world with justice as it was filled with Injustice and inequality. So, it will be a matter that will be done step by done, and the first step will be laid before the advent of Mahdi. Remember, the era of al-Mahdi will be only seven years.
Point # 5 -
Islam didn’t spread over the complete Arabian Peninsula and the Roman and Persian Empire in times of Prophet Muhammad, the expansion occurred in the times of Abu Bakr, Umer and Uthman, so it’s logical to believe that Mahdi won't be the only one in this spread of Islam and Pious Khulafaa will precede him before it.
Considering the above points it is more likely that Khilafah will be established in Ash Shaam before the advent of Mahdi, remember there is no hadith stating that Mahdi will be the one to establish Khilafah for the first time after it is lost.
May Allah help us join those who are striving to make the Kalimah of Allah Supreme!

SABOTAGE RETARDING NIGERIA’S PROGRESS BY PROFESSOR ISHAQ AKINTOLA
2nd August, 2016
PRESS RELEASE:
SABOTAGE RETARDING NIGERIA’S PROGRESS
The administration of President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of low performance and delays in the implementation of projects. It has also been blamed for the high level of poverty in the country. Some critics have also insisted that the Buhari administration has not brought about any change at all.
The Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) rejects these allegations. Buhari’s critics are like bad fire fighters who turn attention to the smoke instead of facing the fire. The more they fight the smoke, the more the fire burns and the worse the destruction. They are hypocrites and parasites, the more they look, the less they see.
MURIC cannot stand akimbo and watch Nigeria burn. We must address the real issues. In the first place, this administration has good plans for Nigeria but saboteurs are desperate to sabotage the plans. The main dramatis personae in the camp of Judas is the present leadership of the National Assembly who treacherously seized the mantle of power in the absence of others and without the blessings of party leaders.
The fact that corrupt and overambitious members of the ruling party conspired with the leading opposition party to seize the reins of power in the legislative arm confirms our contention that there was a grand conspiracy to sabotage efforts at saving the Nigerian people from economic and political slavery.
It is this same clique that has constituted itself into a bottle neck in the National Assembly (NASS). But for the saboteurs, enabling laws for the creation of special courts for looters would have been promulgated. The smooth running of administration has also been made difficult by the attendant strain in the relationship between the executive and the legislature. The long delay in the passage of the 2016 budget as well as the unnecessary buck-passing and the ping-pong which characterized the exercise eloquently attest to our contention.
Nigerians must open their eyes wider to recognize the real enemies of the people. We have a president who is universally recognized as a man of unparalleled integrity. But politicians who have skeletons in their cupboards have hijacked the legislature. With the remote control of the NASS in the hands of political caterpillars outside the hallowed house, a diabolical bloc continues to strangulate our land.
With hindsight, it has also become very glaring that ex-President Goodluck Jonathan’s concession of defeat was done in bad faith. He laid deadly landmines in the path of his successor and clearing these traps has not only been Herculean but also time-consuming. The current militancy in the Niger Delta is not an accident. It was in ‘Plan B’.
The saboteurs know that Buhari can get Nigeria out of the woods. Therefore they plan to frustrate his efforts. The idea is to create an economic cul de sac arising from inability to export oil. They expect this to make it impossible to execute projects which Buhari promised Nigerians. They also expect it to worsen the level of poverty. The next stage is to incite hungry Nigerians into an ‘uprising’ against the Buhari administration and force his resignation or impeachment by an already compromised NASS.
Nigerians must reject this satanic plan. The jamaaheer(masses) must be on alert. We must resist the temptation to vent our spleen on the present administration. We must evolve a shock absorber system capable of resisting the pangs of hunger and poverty. We must reengineer our societal values and norms and renounce materialism, corruption, greed, avarice and waste. We must say ‘No’ to political charlatans and eschew ethnicity, nepotism and religious bigotry.
Contrary to the claim of critics, Nigerians have witnessed lots of change since Buhari took over. For example, corruption is no longer celebrated, hitherto sacred cows now spend months in detention, leakages are being blocked, money-sucking government agencies have become money-spinners, states have been able to identify thousands of ghost workers thereby saving billions of naira, ministers no longer engage in frivolous expenditures and flambouyance, etc. It is only the blind and the mischievious who will pretend not to see all these.
In conclusion, MURIC reminds Nigerians that they should blame saboteurs for Nigeria’s present predicament. Buhari deserves encomiums for his steadfastness and high sense of discipline. We call on religious leaders to direct their followers to work for the progress of this country. We charge church clerics and Imams to pray fervently for the success of the Buhari administration, for peace and prosperity.
